Starting on Wednesday, Central Oregonians will be able to access one of the region’s most popular trails again.

The U.S. Forest Service announced Tuesday that the road to Tumalo Falls will reopen after being closed for the winter. Once the gate is open, visitors will be able to drive to Tumalo Falls.

Visitors should be cautious of rough road conditions, and should be aware that the road and the parking area at Tumalo Falls can get congested, according to the Forest Service. Drivers should be observant of heavy pedestrian and bike traffic in the area as well.
