A National School Walkout to bring awareness to gun violence took place Friday at schools all over the country. Many Central Oregon students participated, and some left school to join others off-campus to advocate against gun violence. Summit High School and Pacific Crest Middle School students walked to a nearby church to write postcards to legislators.
