Carol McCaskill passed away peacefully on February 5, 2018, with her family by her side in Bend, Oregon. She was born May 28, 1937, in San Francisco, California, to Willard and Elizabeth Christoper. Carol and her twin sister, Nancy, were the first twins born on the day the Golden Gate Bridge opened and were dubbed “The Golden Gate Bridge Twins.”

Carol was an active member of New Hope Church and enjoyed volunteering for Saint Vincent and The Giving Plate. She owned restaurants and had a passion for cooking, gardening, and card making.

Carol is survived by her twin sister, 6 children, 11 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Barnie McCaskill.

Her glowing personality and beautiful smile will be missed. Rest in peace, CJM.
