Valarie Ann Hudspeth

Valarie Ann Hudspeth, 76, of Beaverton, passed away on April 10, 2018.

Valarie was born in Ontario, on February 17, 1942, to Harold R. Fivecoat and Erva E. Benson. She attended high school in Madras, where she met her husband A. Ellis Hudspeth. They married in Madras on June 3, 1960. Valarie and Ellis were dedicated parents to five children.

She loved traveling and gardening, but, above all else, her greatest joy was being with her family. Valarie never missed a sporting event, play or concert. She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Beaverton, as well as the National Gardening Association. She also served on the Oregon Ostomy Board of Directors and the Christian Women’s Job Corps Board of Directors.

She is survived by her husband, A. Ellis Hudspeth; brother, Larry Fivecoat (Marilyn) of Madras; son, Brad Hudspeth (Lani) of Bend; daughter, Keeli Plummer (Shaun) of Tigard; son, Wade Hudspeth (Lisa) of Beaverton; daughter, Kandi Hudspeth (Angie) of Tigard; daughter, Wendi Gambee (Bradley) of Chandler AZ; grandchildren, Amy (Cory), Bryan, Adam (Tiffany), Cooper, Maddie, Carson, Hayden, Peyton, Reilly, Griffin, Colton, Durham and Braden; great-grandchildren, Mack, Gunnar and Ranger.
