Tinh’s Vu Doo Magic, competing in the open team category, finished with the fastest time of the day in 1 hour, 43 minutes, 5 seconds. Elite individual men’s winner Marshall Greene was second overall in 1:48:04.
While Tinh’s Vu Doo Magic’s time was impressive, it was still more than eight minutes off the time of last year’s fastest team, Team Atlas, which finished in 1:34:55 and had the fastest time three years running. No Atlas team was among this year’s entries.
The fastest all-female team Saturday was the Flaming Chickens, finishing ninth overall in 1:55:36.
Beer Makes Us PPP claimed the fastest time among coed teams, finishing 13th overall in 1:57:32, and probably had some fun after the race, too.
Waylon & Willie took the fastest time in the male pairs division, placing 17th overall in 1:59:24.
In coed pairs, Breakneck Ben and Notorious Nik were the fastest in 2:04:33, good for 31st overall. In female pairs, Sunnyside Double Take won the day, finishing 76th overall in 2:14:22.
