International fare — The Lemon Tree, a casual cafe, opened its doors on May 8 in the former Bend Burger Co. space in downtown Bend. Chef-owners Betsy McDonald and Jaclyn Perez, who cooked together for five years on private yachts, serve a locally sourced but internationally inspired menu that features homemade soups, salads, pasta and desserts.
