Blasts of color were the order of the day Saturday at the inaugural Interact 5A Color Run in Bend. Hosted by the Summit High School Interact Club, the event was a benefit for Ten Friends, a nonprofit that supports health and education programs in Nepal. Participants wore white T-shirts and were doused with colorful dyes along the 5-kilometer route that started and finished at Pacific Crest Middle School. The result was shirts plastered in the colors of Nepalese prayer flags.
