California’s Slightly Stoopid hasn’t missed a Les Schwab Amphitheater season since it played its first show at the venue in 2016 (and before that, the band regularly stopped at the Midtown Ballroom). The reggae/rap/rock/punk hybrid’s 2016 and 2017 concerts at the venue helped support its eighth studio set, 2015’s “Meanwhile … Back at the Lab,” but Saturday’s show promises something new. “Everyday Life, Everyday People” arrives July 13, and two singles have dropped so far: the horn-driven “If You Want It” featuring Italian reggae artist Alborosie, and “Higher Now,” a down-and-dirty groover marked by guest rapper Chali 2na’s inimitable verses. As usual, the band will bring some friends along for the ride, including fellow California band Stick Figure and Pepper, which performed last September at the Century Center.
Slightly Stoopid, with Stick Figure, Pepper: 5:30 p.m. Saturday, doors open at 4:30 p.m.; $38 plus fees in advance, $40 at the door; Les Schwab Amphitheater, 344 Shevlin Hixon Drive, Bend; bendconcerts.com.
