March 7, 1996 – May 11, 2018
Camron Joseph Watkins was born March 7, 1996, to Rebbecca (Mosteller) and Ryan Watkins in Bend, Oregon, and died May 11, 2018, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended schools in Irrigon and La Pine and graduated from La Pine High School.
Camron was always a gamer. From very young playing Pokemon, he played well and created games. That was his love. Games AND computers, of course. Everyone knew about his love of computers.
So after graduating high school, Cam continued his education in Salt Lake City, graduating with a Bachelor’s in Games and Software Development. He had a head full of game ideas he intended to create for the next generation of gamers.
Camron leaves behind Mom, Dad, sister, Kala (Levi); nephews, Chance and Jayden Branson; sister, Tracy; grandparents, Judy and Rick Watkins; his very special great-grandma, Leota Neider, who raised Cam as a baby; and grandmother, Rita Liblin; and two fantastic men instrumental in Cam’s life, his uncle, Steve Neider; and his cousin, Christopher Neider. He was also blessed with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of Cam’s life will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 2:00PM, at Paulina Lake.
Donations may be made to Humane Society of Central Oregon.
