Gillson

Frend “Rick” and Teri (Loudenback) Gillson, of Bend, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family weekend ATVing in Sunriver.

Mr. Gillson was born and raised in Waldport, Mrs. Gillson, in Newport. The couple were married June 29, 1968, in Newport. They have two children, Ricci (and Mike) Hatch, of Newberg and Frend “Je’Me” Gillson, of Shallowater, Texas and seven grandchildren.

Teri was born and raised in Newport, and Rick in Waldport. Mr. Gillson was a master technician for 50 years, retiring from Lithia Motors in Bend in 2016. He loves all things outdoors — hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and traveling. Mrs. Gillson was a U.S. Postal Service carrier for 32 years, and retired in 2015. She enjoys traveling, reading, gardening and animals. The couple enjoy taking long trips in their travel trailer and spending time with their grandchildren.

They have lived in Bend for 27 years.
