JoAnna Rhonda Weinmann Lasswell

JoAnn lost her 16-year battle with breast cancer on July 2, 2018. She fought this disease with every ounce of her being. She continued doing the things she loved best – camping, hiking, gardening, cooking and enjoying a glass of wine in the evenings – and spending time with her animals and the love of her life, Tom.

JoAnn was born in Elmhurst, Illinois to Russell and Vevienne (Tremblay) Horeck. She spent most of her childhood in the Los Angeles area, moving to Bend in 1978, where she met Tom Weinmann Lasswell. Tom and JoAnn were married on September 6, 1986 in Portland. She is survived by her husband and two sisters – Penny Holmboe and Marilyn Beem both of Bend, Oregon.
