Who: Painter Mark Edward Fuller’s “New Coordinates” is on display at Franklin Crossing through July.
After a lofty career in Seattle focusing on bold works of graffiti, comic book art and more, Fuller spent a period of time off-grid, then moved to Bend. With a new lease on life and art, he has shifted from experimenting with pop iconography to vivid abstract exploration dealing with chaos and confusion and the search for balance. Fuller was the 1991 recipient of the Betty Bowen Award and is included in the Seattle Art Museum’s permanent collection.
