Moyer

Donna and Dave Moyer, of Sisters, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house for friends and family on Dec. 30 from 1- 4 p.m. at Sisters Community Church.

The couple were married Dec. 22, 1967, in Prineville.

Mr. Moyer worked for the U.S. Forest Service until his retirement in 2011. Although officially retired, he is often called upon to work logistics during the summer wildland fire season. He enjoys hunting and working on small projects around the house. Mrs. Moyer worked as a teacher’s aide for Crook County School District and the Sisters School District until her retirement in 2014. She continues to enjoy teaching piano. Together they volunteer at Sisters High School for the Outlaws teams sporting events.

The Moyers have lived in Sisters for 48 years.
