Fahlgren

Kathy and Gordon Fahlgren, of Prineville, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary and, in lieu of a reception, have requested prearranged visits from their friends and family.

The couple were married Dec. 26, 1957, in Eugene. They have five sons, Ken (and Stephanie) of Prineville, Mike (and Eileen) of Terrebonne, Joe (and Cindy) of Tacoma, Washington, Don (and Julie) of Powell Butte and Ray (and Renee) of Prineville; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

They met in Seward, Alaska, where Mr. Fahlgren worked as a mechanic for a logging camp and Mrs. Fahlgren worked as a nurse. They moved to Hoquiam, Washington, in 1960, then to Prineville in 1971, where they owned and operated Prineville Motor Supply for 35 years until retiring in 2006.

The Fahlgrens have lived in Central Oregon for 46 years.
