Bennett

Kelly and Karen Bennett, of Bend, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on the Oregon Coast with their family, then will take a trip to Kona, Hawaii, in November.

The high school sweethearts, were married Sept. 30, 1967, in Salem. They have three children, Shane (and Jodi), of Bend, Joshua (and Melissa), of Bend and Lindsey (and Rick) Gulley, of Portland, and three grandsons.

Mr. Bennett worked as a sales manager in the oil industry until his retirement in 2015. He enjoys fishing, golf and remodeling projects.

Mrs. Bennett worked for the federal government for several years until she left to care for the Bennett family full time. She enjoys the outdoors and loves all animals.

The couple have lived in Bend for 24 years.
