Kim — Bigelow

Ahyeong Kim, of Seoul, South Korea, and Brandon Bigelow, of Bend, were married Sept. 9 at Seven Springs, in Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea. A reception followed the ceremony at the same venue.

The bride is the daughter of Harksoo Kim and Myoungsoon You, of Seoul, South Korea. She is a 2004 graduate of Suhmoon Girls High School, Seoul, South Korea, and a 2013 graduate of University of Oregon, where she earned a master’s degree in linguistics-language teaching specialization. She works as a program manager at National Institute for International Education, in South Korea.

The groom is the son of Bill and Sandy Bigelow, of Bend. He is a 2005 graduate of Bend High School and a 2013 graduate of University of Oregon, where he earned a master’s degree in linguistics-language teaching specialization. He works as an instructor at Tokyo International University, in Japan.

The couple will honeymoon in Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore for several weeks in early 2018.

They will settle in Kawagoe, Japan.
