Bouma — Van Tassel

Cian Bouma and Monte Van Tassel, both of Portland, were married Sept. 9 at 2Sisters Ranch in Sisters. A reception followed at the same venue.

The bride is the daughter of Brian and Renee Bouma, of Tumalo. She is a 2009 graduate of Monte Vista High School, Danville, California and a 2014 graduate of University of Oregon, where she studied architecture. She works as an architect for Hacker Associates, in Portland.

The groom is the son of Lorance and Judy Van Tassel, of Waitsburg, Washington. He is a 2007 graduate of Milo Adventist Academy, in Days Creek, Oregon, and a 2014 graduate of University of Oregon, where he also studied architecture. He works at ZGF Architects LLP, in Portland.

The couple honeymooned in Maui.

They have settled in Portland.
