Brown — Barber

Monica Brown and Jacob Barber, both of Boise, Idaho, were married July 2 at Aspen Lakes, in Sisters. A reception followed at the same venue.

The bride is the daughter of Lesley Hanson and Richard Brown, of Terrebonne. She is a 2010 graduate Redmond High School and a 2015 graduate of Boise State University, Boise, Idaho, where she earned a master’s degree in English literature. She works as an English professor at Boise State University.

The groom is the son of Thomas and Lori Barber, of Redmond. He is a 2009 graduate of Redmond High School and a 2013 graduate of Eastern Oregon University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in media arts and communication. He works at Door Service of Idaho, in Boise.

The couple honeymooned in Vancouver, British Columbia.

They have settled in Boise.
