Sunriver Stars announces 2018-19 season

Sunriver Stars — Community theater troupe The Sunriver Stars has announced its 2018-19 season, which will open Oct. 19 with the musical “Oliver.” Victoria Kristy, artistic director of The Sunriver Stars, will direct an all-ages cast of 47. Auditions will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 16 in Room 208 above Village Properties, 56835 Venture Lane, in the Sunriver business district.
Laughs will be in store much of the season, which continues with a screwball comedy version of “The Canterbury Tales” (Nov. 30 and Dec. 1), the comedy “Suite Surrender” (March 8-16) and the comedic murder mystery “The Butler Did It!” (June 7-15).
