• Spencer Blodgett has joined R&H Construction Co. in Bend as preconstruction and project engineer. He spent the last five years in San Francisco working on estimating and business development for a steel fabricator and erector. He earned an MBA from St. Mary’s College.

• Rob Neilson, ND LAc, doctor of naturopathy and acupuncturist, has joined Hawthorne Healing Arts Center in Bend. He is a graduate of National College of Natural Medicine and works as a primary care provider specializing in sports medicine and chronic pain management.

• Ryan Crotty has joined DVA Advertising & Public Relations in Bend as senior art director. He is a 20-year veteran in the graphic design field in Bend, Rhode Island and New York. His responsibilities will include conceptual campaign development, graphic design and art direction for all clients.

• Will Gryna has joined DVA Advertising & Public Relations as senior digital strategist after serving as a partner manager at Facebook’s Chicago office. His responsibilities will include developing and managing digital advertising strategies, performance monitoring and campaign optimization for all clients.

• Dr. Amanda Balsalobre, doctor of optometry at Elemental Eyecare in Bend, has received the President’s Award from the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association for continual contributions to the optometric profession and local communities.

• Dr. Gabby Marshall, doctor of optometry and clinical director at Elemental Eyecare, has been elected president of the board of directors of the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association.

• Dr. Derri Sandberg, doctor of optometry and partner at Lifetime Vision in Bend, has been elected to the board of directors of the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association.
