• Amy Lowes, Erika McCalpine and Andrea Zechman have joined the board of directors for Healthy Beginnings, a Central Oregon nonprofit that provides free health screenings and referrals for young children.
• Karen Malanga and Kristin Marshall, broker team known as NestBend Real Estate, have joined RE/MAX Key Properties. The team was the top producing team at their previous brokerage group for 2016 and 2017. Malanga is a licensed principal broker and has lived in Bend for more than 20 years. Marshall is a licensed broker and has handled hundreds of real estate contracts as the transactional coordinator for a large local builder.
• Julie Fahlgren has been named the managing principal broker for the Bend and Sunriver offices of Windermere Central Oregon Real Estate. She has been a top performing broker in Central Oregon for over 15 years.
• Sherry Brooks has been promoted to chief financial officer of Windermere Central Oregon Real Estate. She is a licensed principal broker with 13 years of experience and served as Windermere’s accounting and finance director for the last two years.
• Natalya Johnston has joined Evergreen Home Loans as a home mortgage consultant. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree and MBA from George Fox University and has worked in retail sales, education, real estate sales and home mortgage origination.
• Thomas Triplett, Bend employment and labor attorney for Schwabe, Williamson and Wyatt, has been named one of the Oregon Super Lawyers for 2018. The list recognizes no more than 5 percent of Oregon attorneys who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
