The Bend Elks’ bats came alive Friday night at Vince Genna Stadium as they routed the Gresham GreyWolves 16-8.

Leading the charge for the Elks was Nick Roberts, who went 2-for-3 with eight RBIs, which came on two grand slams in the fifth and sixth innings. Brandon Leitgeb went 3-for-3 with a double and three RBIs.

Bend also scored six unearned runs.
