Texas-born, Denver-based singer-songwriter Halden Wofford returns to Sisters, this time to rock and honky-tonk Angeline’s Bakery, on Friday. This year, the energetic songwriter and country-music historian celebrates 15 years with the same lineup of his band The Hi-Beams, which specializes in a mix of classic Western swing, psychedelic sounds and Dylan-esque poetry. The wide range of influences is apparent on the band’s most recent release, last year’s “Missing Link,” on which Wofford and company trace their musical history through country-fried covers of The Velvet Underground, Link Wray, Nick Cave and Johnny Cash.
