A Gresham man was injured Wednesday afternoon while climbing at Smith Rock State Park.

At about 4:30 p.m., 32-year-old Aaron Clark fell approximately 25 feet while climbing near the North Point Trailhead, according to the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office. Using ropes and a litter, search and rescue volunteers extracted Clark, who was taken taken by ambulance to St. Charles Redmond for evaluation.
