After 15 years, the popular Munch & Movies outdoor movie series held on Friday evenings from mid August to mid September each year at Compass Park in Bend’s NorthWest Crossing neighborhood, has been canceled. An announcement posted on the Northwest Crossing website stated the decision to discontinue the series was made by the event promoter, C3 Events. The online statement also indicated the neighborhood is hopeful the event will return in 2019. Calls to C3 Events and West Bend Property Co. requesting additional information were not returned before press time.
