Third Street Pub continues to be the metalhead Mecca of Central Oregon thanks to Coma Booking and Promotions, which hosted the sixth annual Central Oregon Metalfest in May. The venue has continued to rage throughout the summer, and wrapsup the season Thursday with two of black metal’s most promising up-and-comers, Portland’s Uada and Vancouver, and Canada’s Wormwitch. The former quartet dropped an epic, seven-song sophomore album, “Cult of a Dying Sun,” earlier this year, while the latter trio released its debut album “Strike Mortal Soil,” a bracing mix of psychedelic atmospheres and chugging riffs, last year. Local black/thrash metal trio Gravewitch, which has spent the summer bouncing around the Pacific Northwest, will open the show alongside fellow Oregon bands Bäthophobia and Unto the Plague.

Uada and Wormwitch, with Gravewitch, Bäthophobia, Unto the Plague: 8 p.m. Thursday; $8 plus fees in advance, $10 at the door; Third Street Pub, 314 SE Third St., Bend; brownpapertickets.com or 541-306-3017.
