Bend Police Department

Theft — A theft was reported at 12:29 a.m. July 29, in the 20700 block of Smoke Stack Lane.

Theft — Two thefts occurred and two arrests made at 12:29 and 3:25 p.m. Aug. 9, in the 20100 block of Pinebrook Boulevard.

Theft — A theft was reported at 12:43 p.m. Aug. 10, in the 1600 block of SE Skylark Drive.

Theft — A theft occurred and an arrest made at 3:45 p.m. Aug. 11, in the 3700 block of N. U.S. Highway 97.

Burglary — A burglary was reported at 8:55 a.m. Aug. 13, in the 700 block of NW Columbia Street.

Criminal mischief — An act of criminal mischief was reported at 11:01 a.m. Aug. 13, in the area of SW Bond Street and SW Powerhouse Drive.

Theft — A theft occurred and an arrest made at 3:03 p.m. Aug. 13, in the 600 block of NE Third Street.

DUII — Jacob L. Kirbs, 37, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants at 8:03 p.m. Aug. 13, in the 3000 block of N. U.S. Highway 97.

DUII — Jeffrey Lee Knieval, 55, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants at 5:40 p.m. Aug. 14, in the 1100 block of SE Third Street.

Theft — A theft was reported at 6:51 p.m. Aug. 14, in the 1500 block of NW Wall Street.

Theft — A theft was reported at 2:09 p.m. Aug. 8, in the 600 block of SW Powerhouse Drive.

Criminal mischief — An act of criminal mischief was reported at 11:02 a.m. Aug. 13, in the 1000 block of SE Paiute Way.

Theft — A theft was reported at 3:08 p.m. Aug. 9, in the area of NW Harmon Boulevard and NW Hartford Avenue.

DUII — Bryan Wade Vanalstine, 31, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants at 7:54 p.m. Aug. 13, in the 200 block of NE Greenwood Avenue.

DUII — Richard Dean Hewitt Jr., 44, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants at 9:37 p.m. Aug. 14, in the area of NW Broadway Street and NW Franklin Avenue.

Criminal mischief — An act of criminal mischief was reported at 9:46 a.m. Aug. 15, in the 1700 block of NE U.S. Highway 20.

Prineville Police Department

Unauthorized use — A vehicle was reported stolen at 5:56 a.m. Aug. 16, in the area of SE Lynn Boulevard.

Vehicle crash — An accident occurred at 11:14 a.m. Aug. 16, in the area of NW Third Street.

Burglary — A burglary was reported at 9:15 a.m. Aug. 17, in the area of NE Third Street.

Criminal mischief — An act of criminal mischief was reported at 8:09 a.m. Aug. 17, in the area of NW Third Street.

Theft — A theft occurred and an arrest made at 4:53 p.m. Aug. 17, in the area of NE Third Street. The suspect was also charged with criminal trespassing and parole violation.

Criminal mischief — An act of criminal mischief was reported at 9:36 a.m. Aug. 18, in the area of N. Main Street.

Theft/criminal mischief — A theft and an act of criminal mischief were reported at 5:48 a.m. Aug. 19, in the area of N. Main Street.

Burglary/criminal mischief — A burglary and an act of criminal mischief were reported at 11:50 a.m. Aug. 19, in the area of NW Lamonta Road.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office

Hit-and-run — A hit-and-run incident was investigated at 9:05 a.m. Aug. 15, in the 1600 block of SW U.S. Highway 97.

DUII — Jonas Ray Brandsma, 44, was arrested on suspicion of operating a personal watercraft under the influence of intoxicants at 7:05 p.m. Aug. 17, on Lake Billy Chinook in Jefferson County.

Theft — An unauthorized use of a debit card for an online purchase was reported at 6:09 p.m. Aug. 18, in the area of SW Golden Mantel Road in Crooked River Ranch. The victim’s bank was notified and the card deactivated.
