Smoke filling air in Bend comes from Willamette National Forest fire

Heavy smoke rolled into Bend Wednesday evening, but it was not the result of a new fire, the Central Oregon Interagency Dispatch Center stated via Twitter.
The dispatch center had received a number of reports of thick smoke, particularly in the Sisters area. The smoke originated with the Terwilliger Fire on the Willamette National Forest, the dispatch center stated.
