Multiple major touring acts will make the trek to Central Oregon this week (just flip around these pages to learn more), but don’t forget to give local musicians some love. Here are a couple of highlights:

• Nuevo flamenco guitarist Todd Haaby and his band, Sola Via, play their annual summer date in Bend on Friday at Broken Top Club. Expect a heaping helping of instrumental “Spanish-American-Norwegian music” from the former Northern California musician, home designer and former model.

Todd Haaby and Sola Via: 7 p.m. Friday; $30; Broken Top Club, 62000 Broken Top Drive, Bend; brokentop.com or 541-382-8200.

• Sisters-based artist Dennis McGregor published his second illustrated children’s book, “You Stole My Name,” in June, and his striking paintings have graced Sisters Folk Festival posters for many years. But McGregor has a second artistic life as a singer-songwriter with his long-running band, The Spoilers. The band brings its rootsy, jazz-inflected folk-rock to Angeline’s Bakery on Friday.

Dennis McGregor & The Spoilers: 7 p.m. Friday; $10-$20, Angeline’s Bakery, 121 W. Main Ave., Sisters; angelinesbakery.com or 541-549-9122.
