Dolores Dodie Bright was born in Bernalillo, New Mexico on September 7, 1938.

She will be laid to rest with her father and mother at Pilot Butte Cemetery in Bend, Oregon at 3:00 p.m., September 7, 2018. Reception will follow at Bob and Margo Peningtons home, 21230 Chilliwack, Bend.

Dodie is survived by her son, Patrick Bright, daughter-in-law, Vickie, and granddaughter, Acacia of Portland; and her daughter, Jonielle Bailey and son-in-law, Joseph of McMinnville, where she finished her years.

Dodie is survived also by her beloved sister, Margo Penington, brother-in-law, Bob and their children, Larry Penington, Dan Penington, and Anna Bighaus. They, along with their spouses, ten children and eight grandchildren, were blessed by their loving and generous Auntie Dodie.

She loved her family and faith and was a dedicated mom.
