Tepee Fire sparked 10 miles southeast of Bend

The Tepee Fire, burning about 10 miles southeast of Bend, had burned about 120 acres by 6 p.m. Friday, according to fire officials.
The fire, reported at 11:56 a.m., was burning on Deschutes National Forest land near Horse Ridge. Fire crews, including two dozers, a helicopter and smokejumpers were dispatched, according to Central Oregon Interagency Dispatch Center.
Fire officials closed Forest Road 18 between roads 1820 and 1830.
