Will men wear makeup?

Chanel is mixing things up this fall. The legendary French company is debuting its first-ever makeup line for men.

“Beauty is about style. It knows no gender,” the company said in a statement announcing the line. “With this new collection, Chanel borrows the best from the beauty world to create a line of makeup for men.”

The three-piece Boy de Chanel collection features a sheer, tinted foundation, brow pencils and matte lip balm.

The complexion-perfecting foundation will be offered in a handful of shades, as will the waterproof eyebrow pencils.

The Boy de Chanel lineup will look familiar, with sleek packaging similar to the brand’s legacy beauty products. Rather than black, the men’s line wears midnight blue. The products will be rolled out first in Asia early next month, and will be available for U.S. shoppers online in November and in stores early next year.
