Thomas James Loving

Tom J. Loving passed on at the age of sixty six after a long struggle with cancer. Tom was born to Bill and Margaret Loving of Alfalfa, Oregon.

He grew up in Central Oregon enjoying hunting, hiking and fishing. He graduated from Redmond High School in 1970, and received bachelor of science degrees in mechanical engineering and agricultural engineering from Oregon State University in 1975. He worked at Central Electric Co-op from 1989 until his retirement in 2007.

He was a man of many talents, always gaining new hobbies and working with his hands. His generous heart and ready laugh will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Carole; his sister, Barbara; five children and five grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 28, at 2:00 pm, at the Redmond Grange.
