Arizona man is Pac-Am champ

SUNRIVER — A champion was crowned and flight winners determined Thursday on the final day of the 2018 Pacific Amateur Golf Classic.
Budd Hetrick, of Holbrook, Arizona, was the champion of the 22nd annual tournament, whose four-day run at Sunriver Resort concluded with the championship round at Crosswater.
Hetrick won Flight 3 in the Men’s Division, in which Flight 2 winner Joshua Bastian, of Bend, earned tournament runner-up.
Other winners were Brady Kendall, of Fresno, California (Flight 1, Open/Gross Division); Bill Boggs, of Walla Walla, Washington (Flight 4, Senior Division); James Welte, of Westerville, Ohio (Flight 5, Senior Division); John Murray, of South Lake Tahoe, California (Flight 6, Mid Senior Division); Timothy Hayes, of Fairhope, Alabama (Flight 7, Mid-Senior Division); Robert Reedal, of Renton, Washington (Flight 8, Super Senior Division); Gordon Franke, of Anchorage, Alaska (Flight 9, Super Senior Division); and Kathy McDonald, of Newcastle, Washington (Flight 10, Women’s Division).
