Strap on the skis and get the snowshoes out of the closet, it’s time to hit the trails in Sisters!
It is awesome to see how the landscape bordering the Sisters trails transforms when blanketed in snow.
Enjoy the wonderful scenery along the Wychus Creek Overlook, cross-country ski the Upper Three Creeks snow park, or hike the endless trails at Hoodoo. The fat bike trails are also a wonderful way to extend your cycling season.
We invite you to celebrate the sights and sounds of the holidays in Sisters Country. We start the celebration on Friday, November 23 at 5:30 pm with our famous Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony, where more than 500 people gather to enjoy music and cheers as we light up the pine tree that towers over Fir Street Park.
On November 24, we continue the celebration on Hood Avenue at 2 pm with our Christmas Parade and finish the day at the Sisters Area Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center, located on Main Avenue, with a visit from Santa. We invite you to take photos of your little ones with Santa, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, and then explore downtown Sisters to find that unique gift in one of our independently owned stores.
We encourage you to find your pioneering spirit by exploring winter in Sisters Country.
