Police have identified the man who died Sunday night when the truck he was driving crashed in east Bend.

Bend resident Derrek Wesley Finnel, 33, was driving a Ford F250 north on Fargo Lane when it left the road near the 61600 block and rolled over shortly before 10 p.m. It was resting on its top in a driveway when Bend firefighters arrived and removed Finnel’s body.

Speed may have been a factor in the accident, according to Bend police. There were no other people in the truck.
