Details: A dog boarding business is slated for the $1 million building under construction next to Mutual Materials Co. on SE Ninth Street, city of Bend records show.

Property owner Gregory Tomb said the business is owned by his wife, Robin Tomb, and declined to discuss it. Through an entity called POTUS40LLC, Gregory Tomb purchased the industrial lot from Mutual Materials in April 2017.

The city of Bend approved a site plan in July 2017 for an 8,998-square-foot kennel building, pitched as a “luxury” dog boarding facility, on the roughly three-quarter-acre lot. The plan shows boarding areas and an indoor play area.
