Callahan

Jim and Suzanne (Pucher) Callahan, of Bend, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a vow renewal at St. Francis Church followed by a luncheon at McMenamins with friends and family on Saturday.

The couple were married Nov. 30, 1968, at St. Bernardine’s Church in Woodland Hills, California. They have four children, Casey (and Erica), of Medford, Chris (and Aki), of Naples, Italy, Sean, of Bend, and Patrick (and Laura) of Redmond; 3 grandchildren.

Mr. Callahan retired from Pacific Power and also worked as a real estate broker. He is an avid fisherman and a self-published author.

Mrs. Callahan is a retired educator, teaching at Central Oregon Community College, Bend High School and Madras High School. She is an active sewer. The couple enjoys camping in their trailer. They have lived in Central Oregon for 28 years.
