Hoodoo Ski Area near Sisters plans to open for the 2018-19 season this Friday.

According to a Tuesday release from Hoodoo, the Manzanita, Ed and Easy Rider chairlifts are scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday with limited grooming and surface powder for skiing and snowboarding. Lift tickets for this weekend cost $40 for ages 13 to 64 and $31 for ages 8 to 12 and 65 and older. Lift tickets for ages 7 and younger are always free at Hoodoo.

Hoodoo’s Autobahn Tubing Park will also be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Friday and Saturday. Tubing passes will be $5, and all guests must walk up the hill for each run as the automated tow will not be operating until more snow falls.
