Redmond Airport is offering a temporary overflow parking lot for travelers to use during peak times this holiday season.
The temporary lot is located just north of the airport and is open to travelers if no paid parking spaces are available. All vehicles parking in the lot must have an approved tag from a parking attendant. The tags can be found at the parking booth in the airport’s primary parking lot.
Unauthorized vehicles without a valid tag are subject to being towed.
There is no parking fee for the overflow lot, but it is not maintained or monitored.
The airport’s website recently added a parking lot webcam available at http://www.flyrdm.com/?Airport-Parking-Lot- Cams.
As a reminder for travelers, the curb at the front of the airport terminal is for active loading and unloading only. Vehicles are not allowed to wait at the curb. Violators are subject to a $50 citation.
The approved waiting area is the cell phone waiting area, located across the street from the airport along Southwest Salmon Avenue.
Alternate ground transportation options are listed online at: http://www.flyrdm.com/?Ground- Transportation.
