Accused church rammer is a no-show — Hieu John Phung, 35, who is accused of intentionally crashing his SUV into a Vietnamese church early Monday, didn’t show up to a Portland courtroom as ordered. Phung was in Astoria when he was taken to a hospital, the Clatsop County Sheriff’s Office told the Multnomah County Circuit Court on Wednesday, possibly on a mental health hold. His court appearance was moved to January.
