Copeland Gallery opens in Sunriver — While First Friday Gallery Walk is a sure-bet option in Bend on Friday night, there’s another art adventure to be had in Sunriver, where photographer Chad Copeland has opened Copeland Gallery, featuring fine art images of nature. Copeland, a newly minted Central Oregon resident, is a longtime contributor to National Geographic, Outside, Men’s Journal and a host of other publications. You can welcome him in person during the free opening party taking place from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Copeland Gallery, located in Suite 110 of Building 24 at The Village at Sunriver, 57100 Beaver Drive. Can’t make it? Copeland will be on hand weekly for Meet the Artist Wednesdays (4 to 6 p.m.), during which you can ask him questions and hear about upcoming expeditions and workshops.
