Monolith Tattoo Studio ran away with the No. 1 spot in the Where to GO! in Central Oregon survey, and the reason seems clear. Whatever you desire, there’s someone at Monolith Tattoo Studio who can mark you with fresh ink to show it off (or not).
The most popular subject matter? Co-founder Melanie Kehoe said “Everyone in the Pacific Northwest loves nature and they looooove to get mountains and trees. Which is cool. It’s a good tattoo, you can’t go wrong with it.”
Founded in 2011, Edward and Melanie Kehoe pride themselves on the variety of styles Monolith offers.
“We’re kind of a one-stop-shop for tattoo,” Melanie said.
Starting with just three artists, the tattoo studio is now home to eight tattooists offering everything from traditional designs, realism, illustration and watercolor. That number is expected to grow to 10 this year when the Kehoes welcome realism artist Hannah Wolf and a new cosmetic artist.
While each artist sets their own prices, the studio minimum for any session is $80, with the final prices varying depending on size, detail, subject matter, etc.
