Namaspa Yoga Community is a Baptiste Yoga affiliate, “a style of yoga … created to help each individual discover and move from their own power,” said studio founder Suzie Newcome, who left the corporate world to open Namaspa and help people lead healthy, balanced lives.

“Baptiste Yoga is a heated Vinyasa class, or a flow class, where you get a whole body workout. You get endurance training, and strength training and you also get mindfulness and relaxation, all in the same class,” she said. This year, the business saw the launch of its nonprofit Namaspa Foundation, “bringing yoga and mindfulness as life skills to people in our community who need them the most but wouldn’t otherwise have access,” Newcome said.
