Put on your short skirts and long jackets: Cake is returning to Bend.

The alt-rock band will perform at Les Schwab Amphitheater at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 24. The group was last at the amphitheater in 2013. Known for its wide-ranging mix of country, pop, Mariachi, funk and more, as well as its political activism, Cake recently released its first single in seven years, “Sinking Ship.”

Tickets cost $55 plus fees in advance or $60 at the gate, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Ticket Mill in the Old Mill District or bendconcerts.com/event-detail/Cake2019.
