Saturday, September 21 Craig Johnson, the New York Times bestselling author of 13 novels in the Longmire mystery series, presents his new book, Land of Wolves. The series was adapted for television as the hit show Longmire, which ran for six seasons. This will be a ticketed event at Three Rivers School. Watch sunriverbooks.com for upcoming information.

June 22 Erica Bauermeister presents The Scent Keeper, a beautifully written story that’s a sensual delight. A young girl spends her early years alone on a remote island with the father she adores until tragedy strikes, sending her on a quest to find her roots. 5 pm

July 20 Ted Haynes presents Mirror Pond Murders, the second in his mystery series set in Central Oregon with locations around Bend and Sunriver. 5 pm
July 27 Willy Vlautin presents Don’t Skip Out on Me, a beautifully written coming-of-age story about a young man leaving behind the Nevada ranch he grew up on to make a name for himself in a dangerous game. 5 pm
August 3 Arlene Sachitano presents the latest in her Northwestern Quilting Mysteries, The Twelve Quilts of Christmas, featuring Harriet Truman and the Loose Threads Quilting Guild. 5:30 pm
August 24 Debra Gwartney presents I Am a Stranger Here Myself, blending memoir with a history of Narcissa Prentiss Whitman and the Whitman massacre. 5 pm
August 31 Jane Kirkpatrick presents One More River to Cross, a historical novel featuring strong women and great historic detail. 5 pm
