Benham Falls Bike Tour

This exciting and scenic intermediate mountain bike tour to Benham Falls starts at the Bike Barn at Sunriver Resort. The experienced staff will outfit you with a bike, then your guide will drive you to the trailhead where the fun begins. Wind through the Deschutes National Forest along the Deschutes River to Benham Falls, where you’ll have time to explore and soak in the scenery. $45, includes bike and helmet rental and water. 541-593-3721

Keepin’ It Real Kayak Camp

Spend all day on the scenic Deschutes River with a trained kayak instructor learning skills and techniques for a lifetime of recreational fun. Must be able to swim. Ages 8–18. $125, lunch included; reservations required.

What’s SUP Classes

Experience the thrill of stand-up paddleboarding with a trained instructor. Class participants should be strong swimmers. $80, includes equipment; reservations required. Plus you can enjoy a six-mile float after your lesson, $20.

Family Fun Float

River guides will lead you two miles down the Deschutes River in a six-person raft in beautiful late-afternoon sunset with Cascade Mountain views. After the float, enjoy refreshments, games, and live musical entertainment. $185 per raft; reservations required.

Battlefield Laser Tag

Come test your agility and skills at the coolest laser tag setup around. Battle other teams or play a free-for-all game-style match. Deploy the best tactics and become the ultimate victor. $17 per game; $35 for three-hour program.

Glow Golf

Join us after dark as we keep the party “glowing.” Try your luck on our 9-hole putting course with glow golf balls. Walk-up players are welcome until 10:15 pm. Check in at the Merchant Trader Gift Shop or the first tee. $15.

Teens Only Outing

Run for the Birds 5K and 1K Kids Dash

Run/walk the 5K or 1K kids’ race and enjoy stunning views of Mt. Bachelor, the meadows, and Central Oregon wildlife. Join us after for awards and the post-race celebration. All participants will receive a medal, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers will win a one-night stay at Sunriver Resort. Proceeds will support the Sunriver Nature Center and Oregon Observatory.

4th of July 5K Fun Run

This fun run will take runners through the Sunriver meadows, with views of Mt. Bachelor and Central Oregon wildlife. Register by June 21 and receive a patriotic 5K T-shirt. Shirts will be available for purchase on the day of the race, while supplies last. Register online; $35 before June 5 (includes shirt); $40 June 5–21 (includes shirt); $45 after June 20.

4th of July Bike Parade and Celebration

Join the parade in red, white, and blue fashion from the Bike Barn back parking lot to The Backyard. Prizes will be awarded to participants for best bike decorations, and registered bikes will be entered into a raffle for kid-friendly prizes. An afternoon of fun will include a giant inflatable obstacle course, bounce house, lawn games, and great food. Register online; $15 ($20 day of registration) + fees.

The Wine, Cheese and Brew Showcase

Featuring more than a hundred wines and Oregon brews, dozens of gourmet cheeses, delicious hors d’oeuvres and specialty foods, a silent auction, and live music. Proceeds benefit the Sunriver–La Pine Habitat for Humanity. $85 per ticket.

Half Marathon for a Cause

The Sunriver Half Marathon for a Cause is a race with purpose through Sunriver’s most spectacular views. Pick your distance: half marathon, 10K, 5K, or Kids’ Dash.
