New brewpub — Initiative Brewing is the latest craft brewery to open its doors in Redmond. Open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.

But with the growth of the brewpub industry, there is fallout. The Smith Rock Brewing Company has closed. New owners have announced plans to reopen in October. 546 NW Seventh St., Redmond; smithrockbrewing.com.
