An auction of property around Aspen Lakes Golf Course in Sisters that was scheduled for June 4 has been postponed.

The golf course and resort filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in June 2018. Douglas Pahl, the debtors’ attorney in the Portland office of Perkins Coie LLP, did not respond to requests for comment.

A recent court filing says the parties are working on setting new dates for the sale of assets, bidding deadline and hearing the sale of certain assets.

Three parcels of land are advertised on the auction website as rare investment or redevelopment opportunities. The first lot is 387 acres including the golf course and new clubhouse and restaurant. Lot No. 2 is 304 acres with water access and destination resort overlay zoning. Lot No. 3 is 118 acres with zoning for surface mining and landscape management.
