A Forest Grove man was arrested after he allegedly pointed a gun at a driver on U.S. Highway 20 near Sisters in a road rage incident Sunday night.
Around 6 p.m., the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a driver that a man, later identified as Justin Lehr, 39, was pointing a firearm at him while driving near the intersection of Highway 20 and Cloverdale Road. Lehr apparently followed the driver into Sisters before police found Lehr driving near the Bi-Mart. With guns drawn, police took Lehr into custody in a traffic stop.
Lehr is charged with unlawful use of a weapon, menacing and, because Lehr’s 7-year-old son was in the car, endangering the welfare of a minor.
